CALLAGHAN PTO
Callaghan School has a small, yet extremely active PTO and all parents are strongly encouraged to support their child and school through this organization. PTO meetings are held throughout the school year to plan for special events, to give information to parents concerning the instructional program of the school, to present informational programs. Unless directed otherwise, names, addresses, and telephone numbers of parents will be made available to the PTO officers so that your support can be solicited.
The PTO Executive Board usually conducts a regular Board meeting each month. Other general membership meetings may be held during special school events. The organization also sponsors fund-raising programs to purchase items needed for the school. Annual membership dues are $3.00 for each person or $5.00 for two adult household members. The officers encourage all adult family members and interested community citizens to join and support this worthwhile organization. Messages and reminders from the PTO are communicated through Facebook, SeeSaw, informational letters sent home and the Callaghan school website. The PTO By-laws are also posted on the school website.
